Been neglecting the blog lately - but I hope to post once a week. The content is going to change a bit. My husband and I are separated and the girls and I are starting out on a new adventure.
So I want to share what I've learned about what I call the "silent abuse" in relationships - Emotional & Verbal Abuse. This type of abuse varies among relationships, some see it as the degrading male, the one who yells & screams at his wife (or as I'm finding out the female can be the abuser too). Mine was more silent, but it became deafening and stripped me of my soul and who I was, until something clicked (or maybe smacked me in the face) and I decided I can't do this anymore.
I also want to share my passion to bring more awareness of Human Trafficking and what that really consists of. I hope to open your eyes like mine were. I have learned there is much more to it than we realize.
Finally on the homeschooling/unschooling front, my oldest wants to start some high school work - so I'll let you know how that goes and how she (we) decide the best way to identify and pursue her passions.
I hope to help single moms now too. I hope to show you that we can homeschool too.
So ride along with us in this new season of life. I promise it will be Godly, inspiring and eye opening.
