iPhone apps for kids

Do you have an iPhone?  Are you thinking about getting one?  Well I ran across this great little website that reviews iPhone apps and let's you know which ones are great for kids.  As a parent, any site that helps me swim better through all this internet information is a welcome help.  


Some of the iPhone apps they recommend that caught my eye are:

1. Scrabble - my kids LOVE Scrabble.
2. Monopoly - great for a long road trip.
3. PegLight and PacMan - what a great idea, take classic games and put it on the iPhone.
4. SkeeBall - the first time I've ever seen this in gaming form.
5. GeoCaching - we did a brief class at the nature center on this treasure-hunting game and had fun.

Well, these are just a few of the many, many apps you can get for your iPhone.  I didn't realize there were so many!  This website breaks it down by age group and by category (creative, educational, just for fun, word games and free apps).  It also has a tips and tricks page.  


So all you iPhone users, it's not just for adults anymore and we can even sneak in some educational stuff for our kids without them even realizing it.
