The Ultimate Blog Party is over for this year but I want to share 3 of the blogs that really touched me personally.

1.  On Having Faith
I read her post "Neighbors and a Diet" and felt like I could be reading my own story.

We live in a side by side duplex and share a yard.  Our neighbors (in the other half) moved in last August.  I know the wife because her son and my youngest were in the same kindergarten class when she attended public school.  They are nice people but their children have taken over the yard.  Their toys are strewn everywhere and they are a bit rough so it has been hard adjusting.  But what has really helped is remembering that Jesus commanded to "Love your neighbor as yourself" so I continue to remind myself and my whole outlook on the situation has really changed....now I don't complain like I used to and prayer for the mom because she does have 3 little boys all under the age of 9 and I just can't imagine what patience she must have.

Also, her post on losing weight is so much like my own story.  I'm 5'4" and weigh 225 lbs.  I have a severe arthritis in my left knee join and knee cap...which makes exercise hard.  I am pre-diabetes and have high cholesterol too.  So a diet and additional exercise is a must but so hard.  So I've decided to share that journey here on my blog too, mostly for accountability.

2.  Me and Mine in a Small Town
Her blog post on the Biggest Loser was my favorite.  It was so inspiring to know someone around my height and weight actually lost as much weight as I need too.  Although she gained some back after having a baby, she is back to losing weight again.  She posts every Tuesday on her weight loss journey...which I really like the idea of a weekly posting.  I'll have to think about that for my blog too.  She is a Christian mom too.  So we have lots in common.

3. Faithfully Frugal and Free
Her blog is full of free stuff, give aways, ways to earn a little extra cash doing surveys.  So since you know I LOVE FREE - of course I'd follow her blog.  I'm so excited to dig into this one.  The one contest that she is running now is a FREE 7 day/6 night stay in one of the amazing Orlando vacation homes from Global Resort Homes.  How awesome is that??  You should hop on over and get into the action.
